Fields
DefaultLockResource
The application lock every apply takes by default: quartz:migrate.
public const string DefaultLockResource = "quartz:migrate"
Field Value
Remarks
Wolverine's migration lock on SQL Server is 4006 and Polecat's is
polecat:migrate:<schema>. sp_getapplock scopes a resource to the current
database, so schedulers on different databases never wait for one another.
Properties
AutoCreate
How far the schema is applied at startup, or null to follow the active JasperFx
profile's ResourceAutoCreate when JasperFx is registered, and
JasperFx.AutoCreate.CreateOrUpdate when it is not.
public AutoCreate? AutoCreate { get; set; }
Property Value
- AutoCreate?
Remarks
JasperFx.AutoCreate.None applies nothing at startup; db-apply and
resources setup still do, and the store still validates the schema before it starts.
LockResource
The sp_getapplock resource every apply of this schema takes, on startup and from the
command line. At most 255 characters.
public string LockResource { get; set; }
Property Value
Remarks
Schedulers sharing a database may share the resource: their applies then take turns, which is all the lock is for.
LockTimeout
How long an apply waits for another session holding LockResource before it gives up.
public TimeSpan LockTimeout { get; set; }
Property Value
Remarks
A process that gives up fails its startup, unless the active JasperFx profile's
ResourceMigrationFailureMode is ContinueOnFailures, in which case it starts against the
schema the lock holder is applying.
